From the complete beginner or those just wishing to improve their photography, I provide a host of personal tuition services to help expand your knowledge and achieve your photographic goals including:

I explain everything in real world terms so you can learn quickly and effectively but more inportanly at your own pace. I want to make sure that when you leave at the end of the day that you are satisfied and confident with your newly acquired photographic skills. I provide handouts on all my tuition days so you have some notes to take home and ex-students are always welcome to contact me for advice afterwards at no extra charge.

My fee is a flat rate of £150 per day - 9:30am to 4pm

Half days rates where available are £100 - 9:30 to 1pm or 1:30pm to 5pm

I’ll take you from taking your camera “Out of the Box” to transferring your pictures to a computer for the first time. You’ll be shown some important tips and gain new skills to get the best results from your camera.

If you would like to learn how to edit and transform your pictures quickly and efficiently then then this entry level tuition day will show you how to import, edit and manage your photographs using the popular Adobe Lightroom.

I will show you how to transform an image straight from the camera to production using a structured workflow.

I will explain:

  • How the Lightroom catalogue works
  • Importing your images
  • Tagging and searching your images
  • Cropping and resizing
  • Basic adjustments
  • Content corrections
  • Colour enhancements
  • Converting to monochrome and B&W
  • Presets
  • Exporting for web and print

 A good understanding of Windows or iOS is required.

The tuition day will help you achieve correctly exposed images for display and printing using available light.
